• The County Clerk serves as the official Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners
• Maintains the Board of County Commissioner offical records and minutes of all meetings
• Performs all Accounts Payable duties
• Provides payroll functions for all County departments
• Administers the County employee benefits program, including health insurance and retirement plans
• Maintain personnel files for County employees
• Prepares Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Rolls
• Prepares State Assessed and Special Assessment Tax Rolls
• Computes tax levies for all entities in Comanche County and prepares and distributes mil levy sheets
• Prepares changes and adjustments to original tax roll, abatements, refunds, and added taxes
• Assists in preparing Homestead Claims
• Issues hunting and fishing licenses 
• Performs checks and balances on County funds through the Treasurer's Daily Statements 
• Assists townships with their budget preparation and keeps annual reports on file
• Prepare tax abstracts and other reports required by the state
• Administer oaths of office and maintain copies of all oaths
• Maintain and provide information to the public concerning every election 
• Conduct and supervise all elections held in the County 
• Maintain and update voter registration records
• Receive candidate fillings, fee and expense statements
• Secure polling sites and assign board workers
• Prepare ballots for printing and delivery to polling sites
